The Spring Equinox or Ostara is more and more present everyday. We are embraced in more sun light as the earth turns and and balances with the dark we've come to know so well in the Wintertide. But now everything awakes from Winter's sleepy spell.The Spring Equinox restores balance to the earth. There is equal night and day. Temperatures are more mild. Nature is alive once more with new growth. This was the energy I focused on in this particular illustration, including much more life than what we saw at Imbolc. Rabbits leaping, frogs singing in the ponds, the earliest of plants sprouting, insects revealing themselves from the wet earth.This time is where we see the fruits of a fertile nature. Fertile in the scientific, literal meaning but also spiritually and mentally this is a time for focusing on bringing things to life from the plans we made during the darker days of Imbolc. It's time to take a lighter more energetic approach to life. Do the things, plant the seeds. Hatch from your dark egg and give yourself the grace to take your place in the sun. Drink a cup of positivity. You made it.
